About
Dr. Maisa Ziadni is a US-licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress and burnout, relationship and identity challenges, and adjustment to life and health-related transitions. She has specialised training in health psychology, with particular expertise in chronic pain and insomnia.
She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology (Health Psychology) from Wayne State University and completed a three-year clinical and research fellowship in Pain Psychology at Stanford University before joining the Stanford faculty in 2019, where she combined clinical practice, research, teaching and program development. Her approach is evidence-based, collaborative and tailored to the unique needs, values and goals of each individual.
Having lived and trained across both the United States and the Middle East, Dr. Maisa brings a culturally sensitive and internationally informed perspective to her work, creating a therapeutic space where clients from diverse backgrounds feel understood, respected and empowered.
